    Description

    When this kit was released in 1975 there wasn't really any Rodan merchandise released in the US, so this kit was quite the sight for a 9 year old kid in the hobby store with an eye out for Aurora monster models! The Aurora Monsters of the Movies Rodan featured a great pose of the prehistoric pterodactyl coming in for a landing on a building crushing under his weight, but at 9 years old I didn't know about putting a rod in for support so it was quite a daunting (and impossible) task for me to get Rodan to remain on his perch! But thanks to Polar Lights, for the second time in ten years I can take a trip back to Glenwood Hobby in 1975 and see if I can bring Rodan in for a landing.
