This postcard was published in 1978 as part of the
Artists' Postcards
Series II. The original artworks were exhibited at the Cooper Hewitt Museum in New York City in the Fall of 1978, and then traveled nationally under the auspices of the Smithsonian Institution.
Artists' Postcards was a nonprofit organization established by the J. M. Kaplan Fund in New York in 1977. Artists were commissioned to create original works in the precise dimensions of 4 x 6 inches (102 x 153mm). The quality of printing and the diversity of papers, selected to best suit the original artworks, was outstanding.
This postcard is unused and in Near Mint condition. It has a matte, textured finish.
